Damascus, SANA – The Higher Committee for Relief stressed the need to take into account priorities in the agricultural sector in terms of agricultural projects proposed as part of the humanitarian response plan signed by the government and international organizations.
Chairing a meeting for the Committee on Sunday, caretaker Social Affairs Minister said that cooperation with international organizations must be governed by international rules and should focus on national priorities, particularly those pertaining to development.
In turn assistant Agriculture Minister Ahmad Qadish called for enhancing coordination in terms of agricultural projects in the response plan in a manner that complies with the Ministry’s applied laws, stressing the need to secure the necessary funding for these projects.
