Beach Football and Volleyball Championship for Universities held in Lattakia

Lattakia, SANA – Beach Football and Volleyball Championship for Universities and Institutes wrapped up in the coastal western province of Lattakia.

Hama University team won the first place in the football competitions after beating Damascus Institutes team 4-2.

The team representing Lattakia-based Tishreen University took the lead in the volleyball competitions for men, winning over Hama University team in the final game.

Tishreen University women’s team also came first in volleyball competitions ahead of Damascus University team.

The Championship, which took place in al-Assad Sports City, witnessed the participation of football 13 teams, 10 men’s volleyball teams and 5 women’s volleyball teams.
