New York, SANA – Human Rights Watch admitted that detaining 54 women and children, who were among 100 civilians abducted by the armed terrorist groups in Lattakia countryside since one year is considered a war crime.
AFP quoted the organization as saying Wednesday that 40 civilians were released last May according to an agreement sponsored by the UN and the Syrian government.
The agreement allowed the exit of 2 thousand people from old neighborhoods of Homs, while 54 women and children are still seized.
Armed terrorist groups infiltrated into some villages in Lattakia northern countryside on August4, 2013, perpetrating massacres against women and children.
