Provinces, SANA – Terrorists fired a number of mortar shells on Tishreen water treasurer in Aleppo city, claiming the lives of two citizens and injuring 8 others.
Director of Water Establishment in Aleppo, Mustafa Malhes told SANA reporter that a number of mortar shells fired by terrorists hit Tishreen water treasurer in the city, claiming the lives of two employees and injuring 8 others, in addition to causing huge material damage to the site.
“Terrorist attack didn’t affect bombing water to Aleppo city,” Malhes said.
In Damascus, eight citizens were killed, among them a child, and another 16 others wounded by mortar rounds that terrorists fired on al-Dweila area in Damascus, a source at the Police Command said.
Meanwhile,terrorists fired mortar shells on al-Mazzeh 86 neighborhood and the park of Sheraton Hotel in Damascus, injuring two citizens and causing material damage to a house and two cars.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that 5 mortar shells fell on al-Mazzeh 86 neighborhood and on Sheraton Hotel Park, injuring two citizens and causing material damage to the sites.
SANA reporter said that a shell fell on a house in al-Mazzeh , causing a hole in the roof of the house and huge damage to the house furniture.
The reporter added that another shell hit another house in the same area, causing huge material damage.
In the same context, a mortar shell landed in the park of Sheraton Hotel, causing material damage to a bus and ATM.
Meanwhile, a police source told SANA that three citizens were killed and four were injured, among them two children of one family, by a terrorist mortar attack on al-Dour neighborhood in al-Shaghour in Damascus.
The source added that two other shells fell on al-Tabaleh neighborhood, claiming the life of one citizen.
There has been no let-up in mortar attacks on Damascus residential neighborhoods that terrorists have been showering with mortar rounds, taking the lives of scores of citizens.
