Provinces, SANA – The army continued Saturday its military operations against terrorists and their dens and hideouts in several areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
A military source told SANA that units of armed forces destroyed terrorists’ boats in al-Rastan lake near the villages of Kisen and al-Ghajar in Homs countryside, killing all the terrorists on board.
Terrorists’ attempt to attack one of the military posts was thwarted in al-Ain valley to the south of al-Qaryaten in Palmyra countryside where a number of terrorists were killed and injured.
A number of terrorists were also eliminated and injured in the villages of Um Sahrij, Enq al-Hawa, Rahoum and Salam Shrqi in Homs countryside as their criminal tools were destroyed.
The army units also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the villages of Taldo, Burj Qa’e, kfar Laha, al-Daher farm, east Abo al-Sanasel, and Un Sharshouh, leaving many of them killed and wounded.
A number of terrorists’ vehicles equipped with heavy machinegun were also destroyed.
Meanwhile, a military source told SANA that the Army, in cooperation with units of popular defense forces, confronted armed terrorist groups which were trying to infiltrate from the Lebanese borders to al-Jibah town in al-Qalamoun of Damascus countryside.
SANA reporter quoted a field source as saying that the operation took about 9 hours, adding that it was a desperate attempt to break the blockade made by the army on their hideouts.
The source said the majority of the assailants were killed, among them were many non-Syrian terrorists affiliated to the so-called “Jabhet al-Nusra” terrorist organization.
Meanwhile, the army units destroyed a warehouse of weapons and ammunition in al-Jamy’at Neighborhood in al-Zabadani city and killed and injured a number of terrorists.
The army continued operations in the eastern al-Ghouta, clashing with terrorists in the areas of al-Mleiha, al-Nashbyeh, Douma, Alya Farms and Adra al-Balad, dozens of terrorists were killed and their hideouts and weaponry were destroyed.
Terrorists Wasim al-Ouf, Adel Hamza and Rateb al-Dibs were identified among the dead.
The army also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in many areas in Khan al-Sheeh and on Khan al-Sheeh-Zakyeh road, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their vehicles and weapons.
In Aleppo, all members of an armed terrorist group were eliminated in the vicinity of the Aziza village as other terrorists were killed and wounded in the vicinity of Khanaser, Khan Toman, Icarda, Tal Rif’at, Mennigh, Jib al-Qassem, Jamajmeh, Bab al-Hadedd, anf in al-Shaar and Hayyan neighborhoods in Aleppo and its countryside.
A military source told SANA that other units of the army destroyed more than 26 cars were used by terrorists in Khan al-‘assal, Qabtan al-Jabal and two vehicles, one of them equipped with anti-aircraft machinegun, in Aleppo countryside.
Another gatherings for terrorists’ cars with all terrorists inside were destroyed in al-Rashedeen neighborhood in Aleppo.
Army units destroyed two terrorists’ dens in Daret Azza and Hur in Aleppo countryside and killed or injured the terrorists who were inside.
A military source told SANA that army units eliminated scores of terrorists in Tal al-Kheder, Dael, Ibta’a, Atman, and Tal Metwaq in Daraa countryside and destroyed a rocket launcher.
The source added that other army units targeted terrorists’ cars in Masab and Jamra villages in al-Lajat area and destroyed a number of them.
The army destroyed an armored vehicle for terrorists in Nawa and a vehicle in Tal Metwaq, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.
The army targeted and destroyed two vehicles and killed the terrorists in them on al-Gharyat-al-Hrak road and killed the majority of a terrorist group’s members who tried to infiltrate Jaddyeh village in the countryside.
In Quneitra, a military source told SANA that the army units clashed with a terrorist group in Manshyat al-Swesa in the countryside, killing and injuring a number of the group’s members.
