SCO stresses need for solving crisis in Syria through political and diplomatic means

DUSHANBE, SANA – Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) said on Thursday that the Syrian crisis should be solved exclusively by political and diplomatic means.

In a statement quoted by Russian News Agency of Itar Tass, heads of delegations called for resolving the crisis in Syria exclusively through political and diplomatic means and continuing direct inter-Syrian dialogue based on the Geneva communique of July 30, 2012 and rules of UN Security Council Resolution 2118.
