Gaza, SANA-The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip continued unabated on Monday despite the Palestinian resistance’s announcement that it is committed to a UN-requested “humanitarian pause.”
Israel intensified artillery bombardment and air raids on the besieged coastal strip on Monday, targeting al-Sheja’iyah neighborhood east of Gaza and Bait Hanoun and Beit Lahya north of the Gaza Strip.
Medics continued rescue operations in Gaza, pulling seven bodies from under the rubble in Khoza’a town south of the Strip.
Two Palestinians were killed, one of them a child, in an Israeli artillery shelling on Jabalya, northeast of Gaza.
Meanwhile, Palestinian agencies reported that 10 Palestinian children were killed in an Israeli air raid that targeted a children’s beach resort west of Gaza city.
The fresh massacre takes to 1,077 the number of the Palestinians killed in Gaza since the Israeli aggression began, with the overwhelming majority of the martyrs being civilians.
The Palestinian resistance continued to hit back at the Israeli occupation forces, launching rocket shells against Ashkol settlement. The Israeli media admitted 6 soldiers were killed.
