Tehran, SANA – Syria will be among the countries who will be taking part in the meeting of the Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union Troika due to be held in Tehran on Tuesday to discuss the brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and means of delivering humanitarian aid.
Syria will be participating with a delegation led by Speaker of the People’s Assembly Mohammad Jihad al-Laham.
Besides Syria, Iran, Sudan, Mali, Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Pakistan and Turkey will also attend the meeting, among other invited countries that are not yet confirmed to attend.
The death toll of the Israeli aggression in Gaza, which has been going on for two weeks now, has reached 375 Palestinians, in addition to 3000 wounded. The aggression has also left a trail of destruction.
