Gaza, SANA – More Palestinian civilians have been killed Thursday in continuous Israeli air and artillery shelling on residential areas in the Gaza Strip.
Air strikes have been going on at a high pace for the 11th day in a row, deliberately and directly targeting houses, infrastructure, humanitarian and service facilities and institutions, bringing the death toll among Palestinian civilians up to 244, in addition to more than 1678 injured.
The dead include 54 children, 37 women and 30 old people, while there are 445 children among the wounded.
Palestinian WAFA News Agency said Thursday that the Israeli artillery targeted a house to the east of Rafah city, claiming 3 lives and injuring others, who were hospitalized to Abu Yousef al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah.
Meanwhile, Palestinian Press Agency SAFA said that the Israeli aircrafts intensively targeted residential houses and farms adjacent to the Palestinian houses, claiming a life to the south of Deir al-Balah.
The Palestinian resistance continued firing various kinds of rockets and mortar shells on the Israeli settlements and sites in Tel Aviv, Ashdod and Beer Sheba.
The agency added that sirens wailed in Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, Askalan and other Israeli cities to the east of Rafah in Gaza Strip.
