Damascus, SANA – The SOS Children’s Villages Association in Syria launched a campaign titled “Let’s Give More” to promote a new program for sponsoring the orphaned children it takes care of.
The new program will increase the monthly sponsorship payments, which now begin at SYP 600 per month. The new program splits sponsorships into five categories: full monthly expenditures for children, full household’s expenditures, annual education expenditures, clothing expenditures, and medical care expenditures.
A donor can sponsor a child completely, covering all categories, by paying SYP 10,000 per month.
SOS National Director Rani Rahmo said the Villages are receiving more children due to the unusual circumstances in Syria, and therefore the Association implemented a plan to support orphaned children, a part of which is the new sponsorship program.
The SOS Children’s Villages Association provides care for orphaned children in a safe, loving environment, in addition to organizing various programs and projects to empower families and sponsor and help children affected by the current crisis.
