Idleb, Damascus, SANA-Investigative Judge, Mouaffaq Naffakh, was killed on Monday in Harem town in Idleb countryside as an armed terrorist group attacked him.
In a press release, the Justice Ministry stressed that “The hand of justice will reach the criminals to enhance the stability of the society and restore security to it.”
Earlier, an armed terrorist group assassinated last February Head of the Criminal Court in Deir Ezzor province, Zuheir Tuwir, within the framework of targeting national cadres.
Meanwhile, terrorists on Monday fired mortar rounds on areas in Damascus city, leaving behind material damage.
A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that one of the mortars caused material damage to three houses in al-Kasaba in Bab Touma neighborhood.
Another round fell near Al-Assad Library in Damascus, causing material damage but no human casualties, added the source.
