Tunis, SANA. Tunisia’s Al-Chourouk newspaper said that the escalation by theAl Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group, the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), seeks to open a front in Iraq to help Turkey and Israel against Syria.
In an article, the newspaper said that the attempt to create a takfiri semi-sectarian state on the Syrian-Iraqi borders seeks to create another front to assist the Turkish and Israeli fronts against Syria after the Syrian Army blocked the Lebanese front completely and following the failure of Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists to reach the Syrian coast.
The newspaper said that this also seeks to fragment Iraq and encircle Iran, and that ISIS is working to fragment the region into groups with murderous intents and conflicting ethnicities, transforming geography into barbed wire fences.
