Moscow, SANA – Syria’s Ambassador in Russia Riad Haddad on Friday discussed with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov bilateral relations and the situation in Syria in light of the latest regional and international developments.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that Bogdanov strongly appreciated the readiness of the Syrian leadership to coordinate its actions concerning counterterrorism, stressing Russia’s firm attitude in calling for joining the international efforts to counter the terrorist organizations in Syria and Iraq in coordination with these countries’ governments.
