Damascus, SANA – Interior Minister Lt. Gen. Mohammad al-Shaar on Wednesday stressed the need for handling obstacles which hindered work previously and means of improving police work and fighting crime.
During a meeting with the chiefs of police in the Syrian provinces, al-Shaar discussed ways of improving the work of immigration and passports department, calling for training and rehabilitating police units in all specializations.
He reiterated that Syria will recover its stability and security thanks to the awareness of its people and adherence to their national unity and support to their leadership.
