Lattakia and Tartous ports back open after rainstorm subsided

Tartous, SANA-The Tartous and Lattakia commercial ports and the Oil Drain of Banias Refinery were reopened for navigation Monday after yesterday’s rainstorm which whipped through the coastal area subsided.

Ports Director-General Maitham al-Youssef told SANA that navigation resumed after it stopped on Sunday afternoon, with no incidents reported.

The Ports Directorate in Lattakia closed on Sunday Lattakia and Tartous ports and Banias Oil Drain due to bad weather.
