New WFP aid shipment arrives in Hasaka via air bridge

Hasaka, SANA – A new batch of food aid provided by the World Food Program (WFP) arrived on Tuesday at Qamishli International Airport via the air bridge that transports aid from Damascus International Airport to Hasaka province.

In a statement to SANA, Director of the WFP Office in Qamishli Afra Nouh said that the aid includes 2,730 food packages, 2,730 bags of rice, and 819 packages of vegetable oil.

She affirmed that food aid delivery to Hasaka will continue via the air bridge till January 15th.

251 flights transporting aid have arrived in Hasaka province since the air bridge began operations on last July.
