Russian Foreign Ministry: Moscow will do all that is possible to expel ISIS terrorists from Palmyra

Moscow, SANA – Russia’s First Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Titov affirmed on Monday that Moscow will do all that is possible to expel ISIS terrorists from Palmyra city in the eastern countryside of Homs province.

Titov said that Russia believes that the liberation of Palmyra earlier was an important result of joint efforts in Syria, asserting that Moscow will do all it can to prevent terrorists from returning to it.

ISIS terrorists had entered Palmyra on Sunday following violent clashes with the Syrian Army and Armed Forces, in which ISIS attacked in large numbers exceeding 4,000 from various directions.
