Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to rise to become from 6 to 8 degrees above average as the country is still affected by high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will become cold at night over the mountains and in most of the inland areas.
The wind will be variable with a light speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 26/12, Daraa 27/12, Homs 25/9, Lattakia 27/16, Tartous 26/15, Aleppo 25/11 and Deir Ezzor 27/12.
