Bogdanov: We support Syria’s insistence to eliminate terrorism

Moscow, SANA-Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday that the Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov discussed with Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow Riyad Haddad the military, political and humanitarian situation in Syria.

The ministry said, in a statement, that the Russian side affirmed during the meeting its support for the insistence of the government of the Syrian Arab Republic to eliminate terrorism on the Syrian territory and stressed on the necessity of activating the political efforts to speed up reaching an accord in Syria.
