Moscow, Lattakia, SANA – Russian Defense Ministry denied allegations circulated by media outlets on alleged Russian strikes on the eastern Ghouta and Douma town in Damascus Countryside Province.
“Russian Aerospace Forces carried out no flights November 7 in the named districts and did not make any strikes,” the Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
The statement pointed out that “the information published in the media is a regular fake.”
Terrorist-linked media outlets claimed that the Russian Air Force carried out strikes on the eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside to distract attention from the terrorist attacks on Damascus neighborhoods with rocket shells.

Russian Coordination Center: 38 terrorist attacks observed in different areas over past 24 hours
The Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center announced that the terrorist organizations carried out 38 attacks in different areas across Syria over the past 24 hours.
The Center added in a statement that 18 attacks were observed in Aleppo, 15 in Damascus, 2 in Lattakia Countryside, 2 in Hama and 1 in Homs Countryside.
The statement added that armed organizations, some of which have previously declared the cessation of hostilities and others affiliated to terrorist organizations, used rocket launchers, mortar launchers and light weapons in the attacks.
The Russian Center indicated that the number of the Syrian towns which have joined the reconciliation since Friday evening has risen to 904 towns along with signing agreements in this regard with representatives of 9 towns, five of which in Lattakia countryside, 2 in Hama Countryside and 2 in Homs Countryside.
