Hasaka, SANA-Around 7000 children have been vaccinated in the framework of a polio vaccination campaign carried out by Hasaka Health Directorate in Tal Abyad area in the countryside of Raqqa.
In turn, head of the Directorate Dr. Mohamed Rashad Khalaf said that the campaign has continued during the current week via medical staffs operating in the Directorate according to the directions of Health Ministry with the aim to vaccinate all children under five years old.
He pointed out that the Directorate had launched a polio vaccination campaign from October 16-20 in all areas of Hasaka province in which more than 235,000 children who are under five years old took the vaccines, in addition to giving children their regular vaccines in accordance with the vaccine records provided by the health centers.
