Nao lost 2-6, 3-6 and 6-7 to the Indian player Siddhant Banthia in the final game.

In a statement to SANA sports reporter, member of the Tennis Union Wassim Zeiniyeh said Nao is the first Syrian tennis player to have made it to the finals at a second grade championship.

He noted that Nao’s winning of the second place at the championship will improve his position at the rankings of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) by more than 130 places and be thus placed between 230-235th in the updated rankings that will be released next Monday.
