Army thwarts ISIS terrorist attack in Hama, continues military operations in other areas

Provinces, SANA – The Army and Armed Forces continued on Thursday carrying out counter-terrorism operations across Syria, thwarting ISIS terrorist attack in Hama and targeting terrorists in several areas around the country.

Hama

Units of army and armed forces, in cooperation with the supporting forces and backed by the air and artillery forces, thwarted ISIS terrorists’ attempt to attack a number of military posts and the villages of al-Taybeh, al-Mofakar al-Sharqi and Aqareb and some defensive points on the oil line in the eastern countryside of al-Salamiyeh city in the countryside of Hama province.

Heavy losses were inflicted upon terrorists in personnel and equipment.
