Russian aid distributed among displaced families in Sweida

Sweida, SANA-A new batch of food aid provided by Russia was distributed on Wednesday to the displaced families who left their areas due to criminal acts of terrorist organizations and are currently residing in the makeshift housing center in the Vanguards Camp in Rasas town in Sweida province.

During his participation in the distribution process, Governor of Sweida Amer Ibrahim al-Eshi said that this aid reflected the Russian supporting stances for the Syrian people in the face of terrorism and the aggressive war waged agaisnt their country.

In turn, Representative of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim Alexi Ivanov pointed out the Russian aid aims at alleviating the suffering of the Syrians due to the current crisis, hoping that security and safety will be restored soon to Syria.
