Syrian junior handball team ties with Oman in Asia cup

Tehran, SANA-Syrian national junior handball team tied Sunday with its Omani counterpart 28/28 within Asia cup finals being held in the Iranian city of Tabriz.

This is the first match for the Syrian team within the first group which also gathers Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan and Japan.

The Syrian national team will meet Qatar in the second match.

The teams which will occupy the first three places will directly qualify to World Cup finals to be held in Brazil next year.
