President Putin discusses with Ki-Moon and de Mistura efforts to settle crisis in Syria

Moscow, SANA-Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed on Thursday with UN secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and UN special envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura efforts to settle the crisis in Syria.

Russia Today said that President Putin, during a meeting held on the sidelines of the economic San Petersburg Forum, affirmed to Ki-Moon “supporting all efforts that could be taken by UN Chief to resolve the international complicated problems.”

Ki-Moon, for his part, appreciated Putin’s efforts exerted at the international arena.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Ki-Moon called, at a meeting held earlier today, for the importance of exerting more efforts to settle the crises in Syria, Yemen and Libya.
