Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a semi tropical high air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be clear hot in general and misty in the eastern and al-Badia (desert) areas.
The winds will be northwesterly of light speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 37/22, Daraa 36/21, Homs 36/22, Lattakia 32/23, Aleppo 38/21 and Deir Ezzor 40/25.
