Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is being affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy and local rain showers are expected in the northwestern, coastal and al-Jazeera areas while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badyia “desert” areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be medium in height.
On Friday and Saturday, the temperatures will remain below average in most areas and the skies will be partly cloudy in general and thundershowers are expected while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badyia areas.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 25/14, Daraa 24/14, Homs 22/13, Hama 25/15, Hasaka26/15, Lattakia 23/19, Aleppo 25/14 and Deir Ezzor 29/15.
