Egyptian Foreign Ministry: Israeli statements about Syrian Golan violate international law

Cairo, SANA- The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that the recent statements of the Israeli Prime Minister about the occupied Syrian Golan are a violation of the principles of the international law and international legitimacy resolutions.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry stressed in a statement on Tuesday that the Syrian Golan is an integral part of Syria which was occupied by Israel in 1967.

The Israeli occupation government held on Sunday a provocative meeting in the occupied Syrian Golan during which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to perpetuate the occupation of Golan in defiance of international resolutions, demanding that Israel ends its occupation of the Syrian Golan.
