Damascus, SANA – Temperatures continue to rise to become 5 to 8 degrees above average as the country is affected by low air pressure accompanied by southwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy and misty in general with scattered clouds.
The winds will be southeasterly of light to medium speed, and the sea waves will be medium in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 25/11, Daraa 27/12, Homs 25/12, Hama 26/11, Hasaka 23/09, Lattakia 25/12, Aleppo 23/09 and Deir Ezzor 26/12.
