Tehran, SANA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed the need for cooperation of all countries in the region to resolve the crisis in Syria and combat terrorism in the region.
Zarif, who arrived Saturday morning in Istanbul on an official visit to Turkey, said in a statement to the Iranian News Agency IRNA that the special circumstances that Syria is going through necessitate that all countries in the region work in order to put an end to the crisis through goodwill and hard work.
Zarif pointed out to some differences between Iran and Turkey over some regional issues, which he said need to be settled through dialogue and exchange of view points.
