Health Ministry receives 6 ambulances granted by Syrian Community in Chile

Damascus, SANA-Health Ministry received on Wednesday six ambulances delivered by the Unified Syrian Club in Santiago in Chile to support the medical system in the ministry.

Dr. Huda al-Sayad, Assistant Health Minister said that these cars will be distributed to provinces and areas according to priorities and needs, which would contribute to raising the level of response to medical needs and having them met.

Al-Sayad hailed the efforts exerted by the Syrian community in Chile and the Chilean Embassy in Damascus to facilitate the reception of the ambulances.

For his part, Charge d’affaires of the Chilean  Embassy in Damascus affirmed the keenness of the Syrian community in Chile to communicate with their home country.

In 2014, nine ambulances granted by the Syrian community in Italy were handed over to the governorate of Tartous coastal province.
