Rome, SANA- Members of the Syrian and Russian communities in Italy in cooperation with the European Front for Defending Syria and other organizations, staged saturday a sit -in in front of the Turkish embassy in Rome in protest against President of Turkish regime Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s support to the terrorist organizations in Syria.
The participants raised the Syrian, Russian and Italian flags, saluting President Bashar al-Assad and Russian President Vladimir Putin for fighting the European, American, Arab-backed terrorism in Syria.
They denounced Erdogan’s support to the terrorist organizations in Syria and the downing of the Russian warplane over Syria.
They called on the governments of the western countries to coordinate with the Syrian government to eliminate terrorism before spreading into their countries.
The participants also signed a memo in solidarity with the two Syrian and Russian governments and peoples in fighting terrorism in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Army.
