Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to drop to become from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is being affected by a low air pressure accompanied by a relatively cold and wet air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy to rainy in different areas, warning against fog in the early morning in some inland area.
The wind will be northeasterly with a light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will rise to become around average as the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 18/10, Aleppo 17/8, Hama 17/9, Lattakia 19/14 and Homs 16/10.
Various amounts of rainfalls were registered in the Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours, the heaviest were in Hasaka 67 mm and Tartous 18 mm.
The registered rainfalls in other provinces were as follows: Damascus 8 mm, Damascus Countryside 14 mm, Daraa 5.2 mm, Quneitra 14 mm, Homs 12 mm, Hama 14 mm, Lattakia 5 mm and Aleppo 4 mm.
