Israeli occupation forces re-attack al-Aqsa Mosque Monday

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA Israeli occupation forces on Monday stormed into al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem, attacked the local worshipers inside it with batons and fired concussion grenades and rubber-coated metal bullets, injuring a number of them.

The Palestinian “Wafa” news agency said that about 150 Israeli soldiers attacked the Mosque and tried to expel the worshipers through firing various kinds of bombs, asserting that fire erupted in the mosque before the firefighters affiliated to the Palestinian Waqf and Islamic Endowment Department managed to control it.

Earlier on Sunday, Dozens of Israeli soldiers and police officers invaded the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and fired concussion grenades on local worshipers and attacked dozens.

The Israeli forces prevented all men below the age of fifty from entering the mosque courtyards, as they were heading there for prayers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli forces abducted the Palestinian boy Nasser Abu Riyaleh, 17 years old, from a restaurant near his house in al-Ya’soubiyeh town in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
