Austrian Chancellor calls for diplomatic solution to crisis in Syria

Vienna, SANA – Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann called for a diplomatic solution to the crisis in Syria, highlighting the importance of all parties’ participation in the dialogue.

Faymann, in a speech delivered to Socialist Party conference in Tyrol Province, said all the parties in Syria must sit at the dialogue table and conduct tough negotiations, adding that there are several moves in this regard.

In the same context, Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz renewed his call for finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria and making use of the international conditions and the opportunity resulting from the Iranian nuclear agreement to influence finding solutions in Syria and Libya.
