Damascus, SANA – The Cabinet strongly condemned the terrorists’ repeated rocket attacks against Aleppo city, which have claimed dozens of civilian lives and left many others injured.
Earlier on Sunday morning, 14 civilians were killed, including seven children, and 25 others were injured in rocket shells fired by terrorists on al-Midan neighborhood in Aleppo City.
Neighborhoods in Aleppo city have been heavily targeted by the terrorist organizations over the past days.
Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi stressed in a statement that these Takfiri and criminal acts perpetrated by terrorists backed by Arab regimes and regional countries aim at weakening the Syrian people’s will and shaking their resilience in the face of the terrorism war.
He however affirmed that this aim is doomed to failure thanks to the steadfastness of the Syrian people and the heroism of their army.
