France prevents Syrian choir from entering its territories

Strasbourg, SANA- French authorities continued its conspiratorial practices against the Syrian people, where it prevented on Monday members of Syrian choir from participating in religious music festival in the French city of Strasbourg through rejecting to issue entry visas.

The organizer of the festival denounced the double-standard policies practiced by the French government, saying that Paris delivered bumblebees rhetoric about receiving refugees and at the same time rejects granting entry visas to people for chanting in France’s churches.

Chairman of the festival, the former priest Jean louis Hoff stated that the Syrian musicians were supposed to hold three concerts in Strasbourg at the beginning of November in the framework of a religious music festival dubbed ” Holy Days” .

Hoff expressed regret over such act because members of St. Ignatius choir in Damascus, are the only ones whose entry visas applications were rejected.

The musicians, aged between 21 and 54 years, are members of St.Ignatius of Antioch Orthodox choir at the St. Mary Cathedral in Damascus.
