Increasing numbers of terrorists killed in army operations

Provinces, SANA – Army units eliminated Monday armed terrorists’ groups in several provinces, killing and injuring a number of their members and destroying their weaponry.

SANA field reporter said army units discovered three car bombs, two of which carry Lebanese registration plates, as well as a medical equipment and field hospital in Ein al-Hassin valley in al-Qalamoun mountains on the Syrian-Lebanese borders.

A military source told SANA that units of the armed forces eliminated a number of terrorists in Hanano, al-Shaqir, Maarat al-Artiq, Ard al-Mallah, Kafer Hamra, Khan al-Assal, Tal Jibbin, Burdeh, Kafer Kar, Marea, Tal Rifaat, in addition to Qastal Misht, al-Zabdiyeh, Kafer Saghir, al-Haidariyeh, al-Inzarat, Babis, Sasin, al-Atareb, al- Ma’aboudiyeh, al-Rhaimeh, al- Sheikh Said, al-Mansourah and al-Shourfa al-Safra in Aleppo and its countryside.

The army units also destroyed terrorists’ vehicles with all the terrorists inside them in Hreitan, Alliramoun, Deir Jamal, Handarat, Anadan and the Industrial City.

Army units targeted a den for armed terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra near a school in Koudneh in the countryside of Quneitra, leaving a number of terrorists dead and wounded.

Army units carried out operations against terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Damascus Countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

SANA filed reporter said that the army units discovered in al-Qalamoun 3 booby-trapped cars, two of them have Lebanese license plate, 3 cars equipped with heavy machine guns, large amounts of explosive, Saudi-made food and stolen medical equipment and medicine.

A filed commander told SANA that the army units tightened control over Ein al-Hussein valley after killing scores of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.

The commander added that by these operations the army closed all illegal crossing roads on the Syrian-Lebanese borders.

In the same context, the army units killed and injured a number of terrorists in Sa’saa area, while another army unit eliminate many terrorists and destroyed their equipment in Khan al-Sheeh and its farms.

In the eastern Gouta, the army units stormed terrorists’ dens and gatherings in al-Nashabiyeh, Kfar Batna and Ein Tarma, killing many of them.

Among the dead terrorists were Zuher Halabiyeh, Suleiman Bkaira , Ziad Awad, Mohammad Wardeh and Fayez Abdulhadi.

Meanwhile, other army units inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in Joubar neighborhood.

The army units foiled an armed terrorist group’s attempt to sneak form Jeneen town to the west of Khubab in Daraa countryside, killing its members, in addition to destroying their equipment.

Army units in Daraa thwarted an attempt by an armed terrorist group to infiltrate areas in al-Manshiyeh in Daraa al-Balad, killing and injuring its members.

A military source told SANA reporter that units of the army foiled an attempt of an armed terrorist group in Daraa countryside and eliminated several members of  the group.

Another unit targeted a terrorist gathering in al-Bajabjeh neighborhood west of the old customs department, leaving a number of terrorists dead or injured.

The army also killed a number of terrorists and injured others northwest of the town of Atman, on the road between al-Yaduda and Atman, and al-Lajat area.

In Idleb countryside, army units targeted terrorist gatherings in Haj Hammoud farm, Ein al-Sawda, Dweir al-Akrad, Kafr Lata, Faelon, Qastoun, and Kafr Haya, leaving many terrorists dead or injured.

Army engineering personnel dismantled two explosive devices weighing 30kg each planted by terrorists and rigged for detonation on the Palmyra-Deir Ezzor in Homs province, in addition to dismantling four other explosive devices planted by terrorists near the Arak village turnpike on the same road.
