Prague, SANA- A delegation of People’s Assembly, headed by its deputy Speaker Fahmi Hassan, started on Tuesday a 4-day visit to Czech upon an invitation by Czech Parliament (House of Deputies).
The delegation will hold talks with senior deputies and with Chairman and members of the European Affairs Committee at the Parliament on the EU sanctions imposed on Syria.
The Czech Republic has adopted objective stances towards the crisis in Syria. It kept its embassy in Damascus open and objected arming the so-called “moderate opposition” as well as it called for a political solution as a sole solution to the crisis in the country.
