Tartous governor and Belarusian ambassador discuss means to boost goods exchange and other areas of cooperation

Tartous, SANA – Tartous Governor Safwan Abu Saadi discussed with the Belarusian Ambassador in Damascus Alexander Ponomarev issues related to facilitating the transportation of goods and reaching agreements to enhance the exchange of goods between Syria and Belarus.

During the meeting, which was held on Wednesday, Abu Saadi expressed hope for translating the prospects of future cooperation on the ground through forming a joint committee that would introduce both sides to the goods available in the two countries.

For his part, Ponomarev expressed the Belarusian side’s readiness to activate cooperation in various sectors, starting with the industrial and agricultural sectors in terms of providing the Syrian side with the necessary technical equipment.
