Lattakia, SANA- The June monthly shopping festival kicked off Monday at the National Museum in Lattakia city.
The seven-day festival is organized by the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its Countryside in cooperation with the General Secretariat of “Live Syria 2015 Campaign”.
Some 60 national corporations that are specialized in food, textile, chemical and engineering industries are participating in the festival as they will showcase their products over an area of one thousand square meters.
New industrial companies have joined the festival, some of which had participated in the previous session of the festival in Tartous province and others have recently re-started their production line, according to the festival’s Director-General Mohammad Omar.
Omar added that the festival opens its doors to the visitors daily from 11:00 am to 09:00 pm.
He affirmed that the festival will continue and it will be organized in all the Syrian provinces, indicating that the next festival will be organized in Sweida province after the holy month of Ramadan while it will be held in Damascus in the period from the 11the to the 17th day of each month.
