Israeli authorities ban ICRC from visiting Golan prisoners

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA-The Israeli prisons administration prohibited on Monday the delegate of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) from visiting prisoners from the occupied Golan in Jilbo’a jail located north of Occupied Palestine.

The prohibition came one day after leaked information revealed that the administration cancelled a visit of the prisoners’ relatives to the prison for fear that news of harsh treatment will make their way to media outlets.

About a fifth of the Golan locals have been subjected to arrest or are being tracked by the Israeli occupation forces. Many detainees are still under arbitrary detention that did not spare women and children.
