Damascus, SANA-The international conference of “Syria, To Reconstruction,” organized by Damascus University with the participation of Arab and foreign figures, continued its activities for the second day on Friday.
The activities included a presentation by member of the International Peace Delegation Prof. Declan Hayes, Prof. Noura Arisian from the Damascus Higher Institute for Languages on the genocides and massacres committed by the Ottomans against Aremnians and Syriacs.
Likewise, George Rizqallah, an Aramaic language teacher from the town of Maaloula, spoke about the acts of terrorism that targeted his town, while Mohammad al-Omari from the State Ministry for National Reconciliation Affairs Mohammad al-Omari talked about the issue of reconciliation, missing people, and abductee.
In turn, Thaer al-Daif, Director of the Atmosphere Safety Department at the State Ministry for Environmental Affairs, talked about the terrorist attacks on oil pipelines and wells and their devastating effect on the environment, while Jundub Zarour from the Civil Engineering Faculty discussed the damages the higher education sector in Syria suffered at the hands of terrorists.
The conference will conclude its activities on April 26.
