A delegation from the Ministry of Defense inspects Tishreen Dam axis in Aleppo Eastern countryside

Aleppo, SANA- A delegation from the Ministry of Defense, headed by Brigadier General Awwad Mohammad, Commander of the 60th Division, paid a field tour to the Tishreen Dam axis in Aleppo Eastern countryside to inspect the security and military situation in the area.

The tour included visits to a number of villages and military points surrounding the dam, as part of the Ministry of Defense’s efforts to restore security and stability and strengthen control in these areas.

“The Tishreen Dam will be handed over within a carefully considered timetable, which will be announced in the coming days, within the framework of full coordination between the relevant authorities,” Brigadier General Awwad told to SANA reporter in Aleppo.

He added that the ministry will deploy specialized engineering teams to remove mines, in preparation for securing the entire area and preparing it for the return of displaced persons.
