A campaign to remove stalls on sidewalks, streets, and squares in Hama

Hama, SANA -Hama City Council launched a campaign to remove stalls on sidewalks, streets, and public squares, to reduce the disruption they cause to vehicle traffic and pedestrian and contribute to improving the city’s aesthetic appearance.

The campaign includes all of the city’s markets, main squares, roads, sidewalks, and parks, and will last for 10 day, Ahmad Al-Shraim, one of the campaign’s supervisors, told a SANA reporter.

He pointed out that the focus will be on vital locations that witness overcrowding and shopping activity, thus putting an end to traffic congestion because of the illegal stalls.
