Qatari aid plane arrives at Damascus International Airport

Damascus, SANA-A Qatari aid plane carrying 20 tons of food supplies and two ambulances arrived at Damascus International Airport, provided by the Qatar Fund for Development as part of the air bridge for emergency response.

The field operations coordinator at the Qatar Red Crescent, Haroun Khattab, said that this is the second plane to arrive at Damascus International Airport within 48 hours as part of the air bridge for emergency response by order of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Than, carrying 20 tons of food aid and two ambulances.

Khattab added that this plane is the seventh to Syria, and the second to Damascus International Airport, and was received by the Qatar Red Crescent.
