Daraa,SANA – Minister of Health in the caretaker government, Dr. Maher Al-Sharaa, confirmed that the ministry is working with all its cadres to meet all the requirements that ensure the continuation of health facilities in providing their services to citizens in all provinces
During his visit to Daraa National Hospital and his meeting with the directors of hospitals in Daraa Governorate and their health cadres, Minister Al-Sharaa indicated that Ministry of Health has conducted a needs assessment for all facilities throughout Syria in the past few days in cooperation with the health directorates, indicating that work has begun to meet these needs.
In response to the attendees’ questions about the ministry’s intention to reduce the health sector cadres, Minister Al-Sharaa confirmed that the government has no intention of laying off employees working in the health sector, but rather there is a phased plan to restructure the working human cadres to ensure that the service is provided to our people in the best possible way.
