Damascus, SANA – Syriatel telecommunications company held on Saturday an interactive workshop for 148 university students who are members of martyrs’ families.
The workshop aims to help qualify and prepare the participants, who are studying various specialties at Damascus University, enter the job market and determine for themselves their practical and vocational choices in light with their personal skills, experiences and educational attainment.
Ahmad al-Masri of the Company’s Media Department, said the company seeks to support youths and students and guide them to move to the level where they have to put all their skills in practice.
The students, he added, are being qualified according to internationally-followed advanced job methods.
The workshop focused on how to write CVs and decide on a career field. It also provided students with an insight into work rules and principles adopted at senior companies and job-related technical issues.
Similar workshops are scheduled to be held in the Syrian provinces to include a larger number of students.
Today’s workshop is part of a initiative launched by Syriatel company to support families and relatives of martyrs. More than 5,240 families have already benefited from the initiative’s various activities.
