Hama, SANA- Director of the General Commission for Management and Development of al-Ghab, Eng. Wafa Wassouf, announced that 90 % of the fires that broke out on Tuesday in the mountain forests located between the villages of Nabaa al-Tayeb and Anab have been extinguished.
Wassouf said in a statement to SANA reporter that a number of Syrian Arab Army helicopters participated in the fire-extinguishing operations.
It is noteworthy that firefighting teams are still doing all their best to put out the fires in areas with extremely rough and steep terrain.
